1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WarmSpell (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License to Use the App

Beacon Light Investments grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use WarmSpell on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to the App Store's or Google Play's applicable usage rules.

3. Your Content

Everything you enter into WarmSpell — hot flash entries, symptom check-ins, treatments, visits, and notes — is yours. It's stored locally on your device only. We do not access, host, receive, or claim any ownership over your content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. No Purchases, No Subscriptions

WarmSpell is free to use. As of this version, the App has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no paid tier of any kind — every feature described on this site is included at no cost. If that ever changes in a future version, these Terms and the App itself will be updated first, and any purchase would be processed entirely by Apple or Google under their own respective terms and refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law, and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Medical Disclaimer

WarmSpell is a personal record-keeping tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It restates the information you enter and includes a bundled, general-framing reference appendix — it does not diagnose any condition, does not interpret your entries, and does not recommend for or against any treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified clinician with any questions about a medical condition, symptom, or treatment.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon Light Investments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any loss of data stored on your device.

9. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. If these Terms change materially, the "Effective date" above will be updated. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Data already stored locally on your device remains yours; use "Delete All My Data" in Settings to remove it, or simply uninstall the App to the same effect.
